Bột nhựa igus® cho công nghệ thiêu kết laser iglidur® i3 đã được kiểm chứng trong phòng thử nghiệm của igus, cho thấy khả năng chống mài mòn cao gấp ít nhất 3 lần so với các vật liệu thiêu kết laser thông thường. Điều này mở ra nhiều cơ hội mới trong thiết kế các chi tiết chịu mài mòn, đặc biệt phù hợp cho thử nghiệm beta, nguyên mẫu, sản xuất lô nhỏ hoặc các ứng dụng cơ khí đặc biệt.
