E04 series

Series E 04 - Chain must be filled along the outer radius

1. Very easy to fill - ideal for applications with pre-assembled connectors
2. Small pitch for quiet, smooth running
3. For high acceleration
4. Limited torsional movements possible
5. Smooth inner contour
6. Mounting brackets available
7. "Pushbutton principle" holds links together

Available inner width Bi: 7 mm
Available bend radii R: 15 to 48 mm
Pitch: 16.7 mm/link = 60 links / m

Series E04 is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: Hanging applications, standing applications
Horizontal: Unsupported applications �� 0.55 m
Circular movement: Rotating applications possible, may require machining (machining rework is always required from rotation angles of 180��)

When to use Series E04

Small igus? e-chain? - interior dimensions 7 x 7mm
When a small e-chain? with 7.0mminner height and small bend radiiis required
For unsupported lengths up to 0.55m and fill weights up to 0.35kg/m
When easy filling without opening and closing of lids is required
If quiet running is required
If a light and cost-effective e-chain? is required
For high acceleration

When not to use Series E04

For applications with particularly high loads and long unsupported lengths
Series 06 E2 micro
When a non-openable e-chain? is required
Series 04 E2 micro
