Series 1640

Series 1640 - chain, openable from both sides with crossbars every link

1. High stability due to undercut design
2. Inner/outer link principle
3. Lateral gliding surfaces for side-mounted operation
4. Closed and open areas can be combined
5. Lid for e-tube can be swivelled and removed
6. Crossbars/shelves can be removed
7. Dirt-repelling outer contour
8. Alternatively available with reverse bend radii/bend radii on both sides RBR!
9. Wide plastic crossbars - cable-friendly
10. Modular interior separation

Available inner widths Bi: 50 to 600 mm
Available bending radii R: 200 to 600 mm
Pitch: 143 mm per link = 7 links/m

Series 1640 is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: Hanging applications �� 100m, standing applications �� 5m
Horizontal: Unsupported applications �� 4.5m, gliding applications �� 400m
Circular movement: Rotating applications possible, may require machining (machining rework is always required from rotation angles of 180��)

When to use Series 1640

When a robust e-chain? with inner height of 112mm is required (e-tube 108mm inner height)
If an inner width up to 600mm is required
For unsupported lengths up to 4.5m and fill weights up to 50kg/m
For travel lengths up to 400m
Also suitable for side-mounted, standing and hanging applications
Many modular options and accessories available
Good ratio of inner to outer dimension

Unsupported length

The unsupported length depends on fill weight

fill weight = 6 [kg/m]
unsupported length FLB = 4.0 m
travel = 8.0 m
