The company Tritech produces animal feed. As the company scaled up, there were staff shortages in production. In order to master this problem, the focus was consistently on automation. The components used are characterised by their FDA conformity and dirt resistance.

The problem

When applying the mass manually, uneven distributions occur and the process is too inefficient, as the piping bag had to be refilled after each portion. After automation with an igus room linear robot, a hose runs directly to the tank.

The solution

The igus room linear robot represented the optimal solution here. It was easy to integrate, it is maintenance-free and very insensitive to contamination from the animal feed mass. Due to the individually adaptable size, it could be ideally integrated into the company.
