From filling to palletizing – the products often need to pass different areas. Critical points are fire protection sections: In case of alarm, it needs to be guaranteed that the area of the fire protection valve is free for closure. A newly developed retraction conveyor belt continues to transport the products, at the same time shortens its length, and liberates this area for the fire protection door. Bearing units form the guide of the telescopic push and pull of the conveyor belt. In order to guarantee a low-vibration and smooth movement of the conveyor belt, a linear guide is used at this position. Maintenance-free and self-adjusting drylin® T carriages and slides round out this simple concept.
