Test stand for control centres

This vector contribution presents a test stand for autonomous control centres for spacecraft. Roller e-chains® from igus® are embedded in the floor and guarantee the energy supply of the control systems over a distance of about 75 metres. The embedded guide channel is no problem to drive over thanks to the low design height. Part of the travel must be realised without a channel, in this case small discs guide the e-chain®. An e-chain® was also installed for the rotational movement of the test stand in the tower. igus® drylin® linear systems and igubal® bearings are also employed in the designs.
