drylin® SLN linear axes offers an optimum solution in confined installation spaces. The axis measures just 138 x 22 mm including the handwheel and has a stroke length of 40 mm. The spindle axis runs extremely quietly thanks to the lubricant-free plastic glides
extremely quiet and is also very light. The axis is based on the tried-and-tested drylin® N system in size 27, while a slide type from the econ series and a plastic crossbeam were used, making the linear module particularly cost-effective. The drive is provided by a dryspin® steep thread spindle with plain bearings made of stainless steel with a pitch of 6.35 x 25.4 mm. The spindle journal has an unmachined length of 15 mm.
