Series B17 每 Chain, openable along the outer radius

1. Can be opened along the outer radius with plastic hinge (Series B17) and/or can be opened/closed in inner radius (Series B17i) - the two can be combined!

Available inner widths Bi: 15 to 100 mm
Available bending radii R: 48 to 125 mm
Pitch: 30,5 mm per link = 33 links/m

Series B17 is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: Hanging applications, standing applications
Horizontal: Unsupported applications ≒ 1 m
Circular movement: Rotating applications possible, may require machining (machining rework is always required from rotation angles of 180～)

When to use Series B17

If an e-chain? with a 32mm inner height is required
For inner widths up to 100mm
For unsupported lengths up to 1.0m and fill weights up to 1.5kg/m
If a very small e-chain? with larger inner height is required
If an e-chain? that opens into two parts is required
When easy filling with connectorised cables is required
If interior separation is required

When not to use Series B17

When quick opening of the links is necessary

Unsupported length

The unsupported length depends on fill weight
X axis: unsupported length in m FLB/FLG
Y axis: fill weight in kg/m

FLB = unsupported with permissible sag
FLG = unsupported with straight upper run

Reference example A:
fill weight = 0.75 [kg/m]
unsupported length FLB = 0.75 m
travel = 1.50 m

Separators can be placed anywhere in the chain's cross-section to divide the interior of the e-chain? - as standard, separators should be fitted every 2nd chain link!

171B - Slotted separator for B17.1 to B17.4
Vertical separation in e-chains?. The slot allows basic vertical/horizontal shelving arrangements.

Recommended if many small cables with similar or the same diameters are used. For full-width separation. Full-width shelves can be arranged in steps of 5mm on 5 levels.
